Wide Bay Transit’s new Custom Denning Endeavour buses in operation

Long running bus operator, Wide Bay Transit acquires two new low-floor Endeavour buses from Custom Denning.


Having commenced operations in 1960, Wide Bay Transit currently serves the Fraser Coast region and surrounding communities in Queensland. The company also comprises of well-known brands such as “Bay Bus and Coach” and “Down Under Coach Tours” and have been a family owned and operated business for over 62 years.

Last year, Wide Bay Transit placed an order for two 10.2 metre one-door low floor Endeavour models from Custom Denning to enhance their bus fleet. The decision to choose Custom Denning was an easy decision with the owner, Murray Priebbenow explaining, “Custom Denning have always been a pleasure to work with throughout the years”.

The Custom Denning Endeavour’s are proving to be some of the companies most reliable route buses, having been designed for a dynamic service life of over 25 years. The two new Endeavour models were built on the 10.2mtr, Denning Phoenix low floor chassis and were delivered to Wide Bay Transit earlier this year. The new buses have been commissioned into service, and are currently providing “on demand” services for the local communities with safe, modern and reliable mode of transportation.

The addition of two new Endeavour buses highlights the long-standing history between Wide Bay Transit and Custom Denning which started in the 2004. Wide Bay Transit’s fleet consists of a mixture of vehicles that include 36 Denning’s which is a large portion in their fleet of the iconic Denning products.
